Crockpot Barbecue Chicken

  • 1 tablespoon Sweet Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 Chicken Drumsticks
  • 1 White Onion
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
  1. Combine first six ingredients, salt and pepper in a gallon sized zip top bag
  2. Add the chicken drumsticks, close the bag and shake to coat
  3. Slice onions and place them along with ½ cup of water on the bottom of the Crockpot
  4. Place coated chicken on top of the onions
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until chicken is tender
  6. Turn broiler on. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and arrange chicken on prepared sheet
  7. Brush chicken with barbecue sauce and broil for 5 minutes
  8. Turn chicken over and brush with more barbecue sauce
  9. Broil for additional 5 minutes
